A date has been announced. FFA will be held on Sunday the 24th (June). I'm hoping that there will be teams from Guardians Competition that don't normally play in FFA. Same routine, grab three mate, a clan name and get it in before 12.45pm Sunday.

The most popular mod for Quake4, Q4MAX has just released their latest version, 0.75. They have fixed a few physics bugs and sound bugs and have added a new gameplay type that I'm sure most of you know as FREEZE TAG. The full release info can be found at http://q4max.com/.

In a late breaking story, the poll at freeze.co.nz was changed following threatening comments directed at the administrator Mr Trik. Mr Trik who was not available for comment has been moved into the Police Protection programme while the seriousness of the threats could be assessed. A police spokesman said the case would be given the highest priority as Mr Trik smells bad and was eating phenomonal amounts of cabbage and kielbasa. It is thought radical elements of the Army for the Propagation of Q4 were behind the threat. While small in number, this group is well-known for it's penchant for mass rocket attacks. More news as it comes to hand.
